The Portal serves to support the enrichment and education of students in Merced County through digital learning. School districts contract for access to digital resources. Students and teachers sign-in with their district Google account to access premium resources on the “Home” page.
Merced County residents have access to resource databases through Merced County Library. Must have an active library card with Merced County to access content. May sign-up online for an eCard – must be 13 years or older to complete online library card form.

Offers a plethora of resources expressly for educators and students alike. Some of its better known resources/programs include the Safe
Space Kit, Solidarity Week, Day of Silence, and No Name Calling Week. Its biannual National School Climate Survey is the largest one of its
kind surveying roughly 17,000 students.
Offers training and empowerment for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. Among many resources, Start a GSA: 10 Steps and The GSA Advisor Handbook serves as handy how-to’s for school site GSAs. Virtual GSAs in Action: Digital Organizing Toolkit is a newer resource.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States. The Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 180 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices.
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth.
